Artificial Intelligence and Automated Tools Policy

The iRASD Journal of Finance (iRASD-JOF) permits the responsible use of artificial intelligence tools for language improvement, grammar, editing and formatting.

Authors must disclose any substantial use of generative AI in preparing the manuscript, analysing data or producing content. AI tools cannot be listed as authors, and authors remain fully responsible for the originality, accuracy, references and integrity of all submitted material.

AI must not be used to fabricate or manipulate data, images, references or research findings.

Reviewers and editors must not upload confidential manuscripts or editorial materials to publicly accessible AI tools. AI may support editorial work but must not independently produce peer-review reports or make publication decisions.

The journal may use automated tools for similarity checking and research-integrity screening. Such results are always reviewed by a human editor and are not used as the sole basis for rejection or allegations of misconduct.

This policy follows the COPE position on authorship and AI tools.
