Abstract

This study examines the role of positive Teaching Learning Culture (PTLC) in institutional effectiveness in the institutes of higher education (HEIs) in the private sector. The mixed-methods design was utilized to retrieve the data of the faculty in surveys (SPSS and Smart-PLS analysis) and academic leaders in semi-structured interviews. The numerical data demonstrate that PTLC will predict well the faculty engagement, collaborative practices, and perceived academic quality. Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) confirms that PTLC is a strong mediator between the institutional outcomes and the leadership practices. The results are augmented by qualitative results, which outline the role of relational trust, inclusive leadership practices, and shared values in the creation of the setting where teaching and learning thrive. The discussion leads to the fact that PTLC is one of the keys to sustainable academic development and is offered the policy and practice recommendations.
