Repository and Archiving Policy

As Pakistan Journal of Humanities & Social Sciences (PJHSS) policy author (s) are entitled to hold the copyrights and self-archiving rights. They are allowed and encouraged to deposit their scientific research in institutional repositories and other archives.

PJHSS urges to share the knowledge at maximum by making the publications accessible from several digital and academic repositories around the world. Journal digitally maintains archives to preserve scholarly content for long-term availability to the community. PJHSS has made sure that published research is archived in compliance with standards of known repositories. So that their digital record keepers can collect and update the journal’s content.    

In order to digitally preserve all published scholarly content including that of PJHSS, iRASD applied for membership of Portico.  Furthermore, iRASD commits to submit the metadata of PJHSS and all other journals to LOCKSS and CLOCKSS via PKP PN and other institutional repositories such as RePEc. This is to make sure that the published scholarly content by iRASD Journals remains available to the community despite discontinuation of any journal or any accidental loss of journals data in its personal archival records. iRASD has further made sure that the metadata of all its open access journals is compliant to well-known repository services and their digital crawlers may regularly collect it for record and preservation.
